Student Finance offered me a loan of just over £8000, but that doesn’t even cover the cost of accomodation or tuition fees – thats before I think about food, course books, transport and having a life etc! Is there a way I can get more from them/ any other companies to use? or will I just have to get a job whilst I’m at Uni to pay for it all?

Get a part time job. Loads of students do. Uni will probably know of vacancies.

You cannot get a Student Loan for a Masters Course. Colleges to have bursaries and there are research grants available. Have a look at the Direct.gov website for more information on Postgrad support.
