PostHeaderIcon is this a scam or for real???

Hi,

The car is still for sale. My 2008 Honda Odyssey is in great shape,no engine problems, damages or hidden defects. It is $9000.00 Hasn’t been involved in any accident. It was always garaged and never kept outside. I`m a single mother with 2 children because I divorced with my husband and after the divorce I owned this car, I don`t need it and that`s why I`m selling it so cheap. The car has a clear title, no liens. Transmission is Automatic and has 26,600 miles. The total price is $4,650 including shipping and handling.
I was recently promoted and had to move to the UK. I’m located in London and the car is in Bangor, ME. The car is still registred in USA. I have made all the arrangements and the car is already in a shipping container (sealed with all the papers inside). You can’t inspect it now and the shipping and insurance charges are included in this price. The shipping takes 5-7 days and the car is delivered at your home.
It is very important for me to know if you have all the money to buy it or you need to get a loan for it. We will use eBay protection program for our safety and for payment I prefer to use an eBay safety payment.
You have 7 days to inspect the car and I get the money after you make sure everything is ok and decide to keep it. If you don’t like the car and want to return it, I will arrange to ship it back (on my costs) and you will be 100% refunded by ebay. I’m sure you will love the car and don’t want to return it but it’s good to know that you have this option available.
I just need your full name and address so I can open a case. You must know that eBay will contact you without any obligatiaon to buy it or fees. The car is $9000.00

Have a nice day!
Mary

PostHeaderIcon car leasing for personal use in the UK?

I want to change my car but I am considering leasing a car rather than getting one on finance or getting a personal loan from the bank. I think it is a good idea because you can get a brand new car and keep exchanging it after 3yrs. New cars depreciate ridiculously in price!

so my question is….

what is the best leasing company to go with?
what has been your experience of car leasing?

thanks
My reasoning for considering leasing is:
I want a new style car but they are at their most expensive at the moment and I dont want to pay that amount because they lose value so quickly.
So I dont wana take out a loan and pay over £10k for a car when I will be lucky to get £5K for it in a few years time! – and have to get another loan to get a nice car again!

Leasing seems so much simpler. and its not all that different from renting a house/apartment really- you dont own anything should you want to move

Financed cars is more expensive to insurance cause it requires full coverage. You can compare how much you would pay for full coverage of this car using this tool – carquotes.fateback.com

PostHeaderIcon What is the best way to repair a bad credit rating?

I have overdrafts, loans and credit cards and I have missed many payments on all of them and am overlimit on my overdraft and credit card. Apart from making payments on time how can I get a better credit rating? Will it only get better once I don’t owe anything or if I begin to make regular payments on time will that improve it? How long does it take for it to begin to improve? I’m in the UK so need info for here please. Thank you!

For the most part, it doesn’t matter what country you’re in. The only thing that can improve your credit rating is time and better credit history. Make your payments on time. Make extra payments when possible. Call your creditors to see if they can help you by lowering your interest rates and refinancing loans for a lower cost. My husband and I had BAD credit, and this was the only thing that could help. If you file for a bankruptcy, that will be on your credit for several years and will look worse to possible creditors than the fact that you are trying to dig yourself out on your own. You made the mess, no you have to clean it up. I know it sucks, but it’s true. Make sure you keep accurate records so that when you finally pay a bill off, you can contact the credit bureaus with that information and get the bad info off quickly. We did this and we were able to buy a home, a new car, and a motorcycle within a year and a half! Good luck!
