PostHeaderIcon How long does it take for a bad credit rating to become good again? We missed a few payments on some loans…

but now we are making regular payments again and have been for about three months. Also can you find out what your credit rating is? I’m in the UK

It is not a given that your credit card company did report it to the credit scoring agencies. To be sure, spend a few pounds and get your file sent to you. Experian and Equifax offer these services.

If you have paid you can apply to have the items removed from your credit record.

I would them apply for what ever you need your good credit record for. You often find that you don’t get refused credit, but may pay a little more in interest. The principle that that better your credit the less interest you pay is true.

I’d be amazed if you get refused credit for missing only three repayments.

PostHeaderIcon Did anyone done an driving test (UK) in a larger car?

Ive to do mine next week in a Vectra 1.8, Im really nervous since I learnt in a fiesta up until wed there, long story short the instructor had a loan car that has to go back.

Any advice and tips for me? especially the 3 point turn – does it have to be in 3 points or can it be slightly more if the car is larger?

HELP!!
just realised how the spelling makes me look like an idiot!! what i meant to write is Has anyone done their driving test in a larger car…. go me and my stupidity
SAL UK – i have been driving the car, problem is the turns take place on minor roads that are wide enough for 2 cars and possibly the width of a person. Im not an idiot when it comes to driving, its just I dont wana fail cause im in my own car.

you can do more points on the turn, the exercise is to see if you can control the car while driving slow and turning the wheel. stop short of the kerb if you have to and take an extra turn.
